Interested in tuna fishing

Postby LachMcK » Wed Feb 25, 2009 9:26 pm

Hi I'm new to this site, and Victorian, so please go easy on me...

A few mates and I are aiming to go "somewhere" in May/June for about a week for some offshore fishing action. Most of us are happy to fish for anything, but I'd like to sway the group with some tuna fishing opportunities. Is tuna an option at this time of year in NSW :?: , or are we better off sticking with some of the smaller pelagics or inshore species?

Hi Lachmck, NSW South Coast is a tuna hot spot, a little research will put you onto the best spots.
